Richard Crossman building, Coventry University

16th September 2025

Envirotech recently completed a full lighting and lighting control upgrade within the Richard Crossman building for Coventry University.

We acted as principal contractor on this project and managed the complete process on site including liaisons with facilities staff to decant rooms to allow for works to be undertaken.

The university maintained operations while the works took place, and EBS needed to manage the workflow carefully given the time constraints of a six week programme and over 1200 lights to be replaced.

The project required a great deal of logistical awareness due to storage limitations and the huge number of materials required, we arranged just in time deliveries with our supply chain to ensure no build up of materials on site. We also had daily waste collections to remove any waste build up.

The project was delivered on time and the client, and their staff, were extremely happy with the level of service and workmanship and commented on our readiness to go above and beyond to ensure the job was completed on time including working out of hours to accommodate staff in offices that needed to keep working.
