Kitchen and Dining Hall, Cheltenham College

16th September 2025

Envirotech has completed a project to deliver a full refurbishment and reorganisation of the College’s kitchen and dining facilities, aimed at creating a modern, functional space while respecting the building’s heritage.

The project includes new structural openings, internal partitions, installation of modern cooking equipment, new cold stores, food prep areas, and the construction of a mezzanine floor. These improvements are designed to enhance the practicality and efficiency of the space for students and staff.

In addition to the main kitchen and dining areas, the works also include the refurbishment of the Tuck Shop and the Sixth Form Social, contributing to a cohesive upgrade across the College’s social and catering facilities. The scheme is carefully designed to balance modern requirements with the architectural significance of the building, recognising its value as a heritage asset to both the College and the town of Cheltenham.
